Apple’s Pages application is part of the iWork software suite which Apple sales for Mac. It is meant to compete with Microsoft Office. Microsoft word can’t open .pages file but pages can open word documents.Here you find step by step instruction to open pages file without iWork suite.
Step by step instruction to open .pages file
Step 1
Save the .pages file somewhere at your machine
Step 2
Select your pages file and change the extension of the file from .pages to .zip
Step 3
Extract the .zip file with your favorite file extracting tool,here we go a new folder will be created with the same name, open that folder
this is what you will see..
Step 4
you will see a QuickLook folder open that folder you will find a PDF file with the same name as the original file
Like this.
Step 5
Open the PDF file in any PDF readable software
