How To Update Gingerbread 2.3.4 On Samsung Galaxy Ace.

  • Download and install drivers for your PC from [Here]
  • Download Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update file from [Here]

  • Download Cooper_v1.0.ops file from [Here]
  • Download Odin Multi Downloader v4.38 from [Here]
  • Extract the S5830DDKQ5.rar file and save it on your PC desktop, you will get a .tar file don’t extract it further leave as it is.
  • Launch Odin Multi Downloader v4.38.exe, you have downloaded before.
  • Check “One Package” , “Auto Reboot” & “Protect OPS” boxes (Shown in the image).

  • Click on OPS and select Cooper-v1.0.ops file

  • Now click on One Package and select .tar file.
  • after that boot your phone in download mode by pressing Middle Key + Volume Down Key + power on key.
  • Connect your phone to pc, don’t proceed if you are unable to put your phone in Download Mode
  • After connecting your phone to PC, hit START button and it will start upgrade process.

    Are these steps the same if some1 want’s to update to 2.3.4 from official 2.3.3? I heard the phone will brick if some1 updates from 2.3.3.

    I tried this in the hope of getting 3g network in my data but doesnt seem to work i previously had xxkph and i am in kathmandu, nepal so thought the indian version should work any ideas??
