I agree, a one click for the X10 2.3.3 would be wicked.  Getting the X10 drivers to work with ADB was a hassle enough!

Took me about three attempts but that was me not the program and now my x10 is sorted thanks :-) my mobile did get stuck on the se start up screen a few times, i have a few more gray hairs now.But i managed to reflash the gingerbread softwere so all is well

  • Alexanderpeereboom

thnxx!!! i have try it 2 days but i only see the Se screen! when i have tryed this TADAA !!! thnx!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah for some reason, I was only able to root the device before flashing it with the 2.3.3.  Then again, it was already rooted!  haha, Now, no matter how fast I swap out and plug in the USB after that first step, the root button never becomes activated.  Weird..  There has to be a way to root this some other way.

    • http://twitter.com/johnsin John Drefahl

Figured out the root button does active after the USB is pluged in and the device boots.  Unfortunatly even thought the debug seez its installed and rooted after restart.  The device doesn’t retain root.  Much less usually when you send request permissions it only temp. works.  There has to be a one Click for this!

  • http://twitter.com/johnsin John Drefahl

One problem.  No matter how fast you “replace the USB”.. wait, and hit Root.  It still won’t root.  I am at a loss.  I have tried every one-click apk as well.  Taking out the battery for 2 minutes after hitting Root, makes no difference.  Because whatever you do, even after hitting Root, when you ask for root permissions.  It won’t work.  Therefore it’s impossible to install xRecovery unless you flash back to 2.1.r1, root that device.. install xRecovery, and then flash a pre-rooted version of X10 2.3.3 root.

If anyone has any other suggestions. please advise!

I nearly bricked my x1oi…It would be a great idea if you advise everyone that they must have a steady cable. If one carries the cable around, its quality is reduced in that certain communication channels get cut off due to folding the cable.
